"Jill with Courteous Canine is THE BEST dog trainer. She is professional, kind and genuinely cares that you create lasting changes with your pup. Brooke Crane, Trainer, a graduate from Millersville University and Sante Fe College Teaching Zoo, has a passion for ALL creatures. Brooke got her start training a wide range of exotic animals while receiving her degree in Zoo Animal Technology. She has worked as an animal ambassador, trainer and performer at Busch Gardens Tampa where she found her love for connecting people and animals. She later went on to work at Brevard Zoo where she trained big cats, monkeys, apes, birds of prey, small mammals, and even reptiles! Some behaviors she focused on included voluntary injection, ultrasounds, x-rays, and body presentations! After leaving the zoo field, Brooke became a certified Professional Dog Trainer (PCT-A). Her experience using positive reinforcement training techniques with a variety of species allowed her to gain a wealth of knowledge.
"We worked with Brooke from Courteous Canine on a three-pack private class package to train our Havanese/Yorkshire puppy. Our sessions focused on desensitizing and reaction to loud noises (our pup is anxious!) as well as come when called, sitting, and other basic clicker behaviors. What I am most grateful for is how Brooke taught us about motivation and patterns in behavior in dogs as well as force-free philosophy. It was also fun to have our son involved in the process. I highly recommend working with Brooke and CC." -Emily Dia Tiffany Song, Trainer, a graduate from Florida State University, Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT), Fear Free Certified, and graduated from Victoria Stillwell’s Academy. She then later worked at the Brevard Zoo working and training African animals such as cheetahs, lemurs, rhinos, giraffes, etc.
